Kasowy PIT (cash-based PIT system) – Is It the Right Option for You?
2025-02-14Starting from January 1, 2025, the Krajowa Administracja Skarbowa (KAS) will introduce mandatory electronic delivery. This means that tax offices, customs and tax offices, and other KAS units will send correspondence digitally. All of this will be in accordance with the Electronic Delivery Act.
What are e-Doręczenia?
e-Doręczenia are the digital equivalent of a registered letter with a return receipt. They have the same legal power as traditional registered mail, which means that documents delivered in this way are official and binding. Thanks to this solution, taxpayers and businesses can receive official correspondence in a convenient and fast way – without the need to visit offices or post offices.
Who must use e-Doręczenia?
According to the regulations, from January 1, 2025, the obligation to have an e-Delivery inbox will apply to:
- All public administration units, including KAS,
- Entrepreneurs,
- Professions of public trust, such as lawyers, legal advisers, or notaries. Private individuals may voluntarily choose to use this form of communication, for example, through the e-Urząd Skarbowy, where consent for e-Deliveries can already be given.
How to set up an e-Doręczenia inbox?
Setting up an e-Doręczenia inbox is simple and can be done through the government platform. You just need to register on the gov.pl website and follow the instructions. The system is secure and ensures complete data protection.
Benefits of e-Doręczenia
Switching to digital communication with authorities brings many benefits:
- Convenience – documents can be received from anywhere at any time.
- Security – messages are encrypted and delivered only to the recipient.
- Time and cost savings – no need for in-person document pickup.
- Ecology – fewer paper documents mean lower raw material consumption.
Summary
From 2025, communication with tax offices will become simpler and faster thanks to e-Doręczenia. If you don’t have an e-Delivery inbox yet, it’s worth looking into this now to avoid problems in the future. More information is available on the official government website: gov.pl.
